We had a very nice time at the cottage and it was very clean and new and beautiful. We have two little kids and Paul and Karin made sure we had a cot and a high chair, and we're very helpful with anything that came up. Would definitely recommend it to anyone!

Absolutely spectacular house !having grown up in nearby Nenagh,it was superb to relive my childhood memories of The Silvermines in this divine home . Paul has created a charming and wonderfully relaxing atmosphere, so much so that we delayed our departure twice !!

Paul was a fantastic host. Our party arrived in a staggered fashion over a period of a few days and Paul met all of us, made sure we got there and settled, even picked up my son and his girl friend from the bus stop in Nenagh. The accommodations are roomy and comfortable and are perfect for a large group.

We felt very welcome even before we decided to book our stay. Paul was very helpful and communicative. We were really looking forward to spending our holidays in Silvermines, but when we arrived, we could not belive our eyes. Everything about the place exceeded our expectaions. Spacious, clean, tastefully furnished, beautiful and smelling of lavender!

Absolutely fantastic and highly recommended. Hosts (Paul and Karin) were great. We stayed in the Old Forge 1 unit and it was beautifully presented, large and full of everything you need for a comfortable stay. Karin Kindly had some delicious locally sourced bread waiting for us as well which was a lovely touch. Beautiful quiet location and enjoyed waking up to the sounds of the neighboring cows and sheep/lambs!

The cottage is probably the best furnished airbnb I've stayed in. It's spacious and very nicely furnished. The shower was incredible and the bed very comfy. We had fun crashing on the sofa and watching a scary movie with the fire going. Very quiet and cosy. Thanks!!

I loved everything about this place. I stayed here over Christmas while visiting family and I loved it. The weather was really cold and dark but this place was really cosy and warm. Very very stylish place with everything you would need and the best of everything. The work that was put into his house is amazing. I spent a good while chatting with Paul when he showed me around and he was immediately available for any questions I had. I didn’t use the laundry room but I did have a look and it is the laundry room of my dreams!! I would love to come back here in the summer and do some of the walking trails around the village.

This is such beautiful spacious place -surrounded by a lovely garden with an outstanding view. We spent 3 nights at Christmas in the Old Forge I unit and couldn’t have asked for a more comfortable and lovely place - thoughtfully detailed and appointed with loads of room for our family to spread out. Additionally, Paul is a wonderful and interesting host. Silvermines village is in what we have found to be the prettiest area in Ireland. We chose this accommodation knowing nothing about County Tipperary, let alone Silvermines, but we are sold on it now! If you enjoy hiking / nature walks, this area is for you. There is no better homebase from which to explore than the comfort of Paul’s place .
